Happy October!

I'm so excited that it's October. I told Tom yesterday that I can officially now get a pumpkin (I haven't yet).

I took the dogs running on Friday and Trixie managed to run until all four of her paw pads were raw and burned looking. It obviously hurts her because she hops around from one foot to the other. We have a salve that we are putting on it and just hoping that time will heal that particular wound.

Max got a haircut yesterday and the groomers were so in love with him. They told us that they wanted to keep him, which was good to hear since he was being stupid before I dropped him off (trying to jump into my arms and run the opposite direction).

Tom and I are also on the hunt for a car. Well, not a car so much as an SUV or a truck (a small SUV - a Rav4 or a Subaru Forester). We want something that we can fit both dog crates into and have passengers in the backseat. We are having a hard time finding something that doesn't break the bank, though. We looked yesterday and will continue to look around online and in town.
